What is the range of the Kia Carens Clavis EV?
Kia quotes 404 km per charge for the 42 kWh battery and 490 km for the 51.4 kWh Extended Range battery (ARAI MIDC Full). Real-world range will vary with driving style, speed and AC use.
How long does the Clavis EV take to charge?
About 39 minutes from 10 to 80 percent on a 100 kW DC fast charger. On an 11 kW AC charger a full charge takes about 4 hours (42 kWh) or 4 hours 45 minutes (51.4 kWh).
Is the Clavis EV a 6 seater or 7 seater?
Both. The 7 seater has a 2nd row bench and is offered on every variant; the 6 seater with 2nd row captain seats is offered from HTX E upward. Kia prices both layouts the same within a variant.
Another dealer quoted me less. Why not just take it?
You may well be right to. Before you do, ask for that quote in writing with every line named, then compare it with ours line by line: insurance cover, accessories, handling charges and the exchange value are where two quotes usually differ. Send us theirs and we will show you exactly where ours stands.
Can you arrange the loan?
Yes. Our finance desk works with several banks and lenders, compares their offers for your profile and handles the paperwork. If your own bank offers you a better rate, bring it; the price of the car does not change.
Can I exchange my current car?
Yes, any make. We value it free at the showroom or at your door, and that value comes straight off your quote, along with any exchange bonus running that month.
When can I expect delivery of my new Kia?
It depends on the version, colour and availability. Our team confirms your delivery estimate when you book.
Who looks after the car once I have bought it?
We do. Our own service centres in Kandivali, Andheri and Thane carry out every service under Kia’s 3-year, unlimited-kilometre warranty, and your advisor’s number stays the same after delivery.
What do I need for a test drive?
A valid driving licence, and about half an hour. Tell us the version you are considering and we bring that engine and gearbox where we can.
